I had to do the age verification on budk.com, i was relieved by how simple it was. It only took about a minute, didn’t ask me for anything that felt odd or unnecessary, and I was able to finish my order right after. I always get a little annoyed when sites make basic stuff complicated, so this was a nice surprise.

I used a coupon code on budk.com and expected it to be a whole thing, like it is on a lot of sites. But it went through right away at checkout, the discount showed up, and my total updated with no hassle. If it hadn’t worked, I probably would’ve just left the order behind, but this was actually easy. Got what I wanted for less, so I’m happy.

I got my order from budk and the packaging was solid. The box wasn’t all beat up, everything had enough padding, and nothing showed up damaged. Based on this one order, I’d say they seem to take care when packing stuff, so I’m happy with the experience

I ordered a knife from budk.com and ended up sending it back because it wasn’t quite what I had in mind. The return itself was straightforward, so that part was nice. The refund, however, apparently decided to take the scenic route. Customer service did get back to me, just not exactly in record time. I did get my money back in the end, so it wasn’t a disaster, just not the smoothest experience ever.

I wasn’t totally sure the rewards points would amount to much, but they actually did help. It took a little while for them to show up, which made me wonder if I was missing something, but in the end it worked fine. Nice little bonus, honestly.

"Pretty good tracking overall"
I ordered from budk.com and the tracking emails showed up on their own, which I appreciated because I didn’t have to chase anyone down for updates. It did take a little while for the tracking to start moving at first, but once it updated, I could follow where my package was without any issues. Delivery was right around what I expected. Not perfect, but good enough for me. I’d give it 4 stars since the communication was solid overall.

"Legal info was easy to figure out"
I wasn’t totally sure what I could actually order for my state, but BudK made the legal restrictions clear before checkout. Some sites make that stuff feel confusing, so it was nice to be able to see what could ship and what probably couldn’t. It saved me from guessing or worrying the order might get cancelled later. Checkout went smoothly too, so overall I’d say it was a good experience. 5 stars

"Sharp right out of the box"
I ordered this from BudK and, at least for what I needed, the blade showed up plenty sharp right out of the box. It sliced through paper without any trouble, so I didn’t feel like I had to sharpen it first. If you’re expecting some super high-end finish, your opinion might depend on the price point, but for my use, I really don’t have any complaints.
